Meet The District School

Join us on Thursday, May 9th, at 7 p.m. to meet The District School. The District School exists to provide a vibrant and excellent Christ-centered education in a racially and socioeconomically diverse community. The school will open this fall in Ward 5 and serve students in kindergarten, first, and second grades in SY24-25,  eventually growing into a PreK-8 community.

The District School was founded from three years of community conversations that elevated DC families and community members’ deep hopes for DC children and the gaps they saw in the current educational landscape.  Based on these conversations, the school’s foundation is built on four pillars: (1) Christ-centered, (2) academically excellent, (3) diverse, and (4) financially accessible.

Parents, educators, and supporters are welcome to attend this event to learn more about the school’s plans and mission and to meet staff and launch team members.
