FOUNDATIONS & MEMBERSHIP
The 11-week Foundations Course is an orientation to faith and life within the Church of the Resurrection. During the course, participants build friendships with others taking the course as well as the pastors and other leaders. The course is primarily focused on essential Christian theology (through the Apostles’ Creed), ethics (through the Ten Commandments), and spiritual practices (through the Lord’s Prayer). The course also touches on the priorities and organization of the Church of the Resurrection, including Resurrection’s membership covenant and history. The aim is that participants finish the course well-prepared to grow in Christ within a church community. Completing this course is also a prerequisite for baptism and membership at Church of the Resurrection.
Foundations is usually offered three times a year: spring, summer and fall. RSVP here.
