REZ FOUNDATIONS, A PREREQUISITE FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

The Rez Foundations course is an orientation to faith and life within the Church of the Resurrection. During the course, participants build friendships with others taking the course as well as the pastors and other leaders. The course is primarily focused on essential Christian theology (through the Apostles’ Creed), ethics (through the Ten Commandments), and spirituality (through the Lord’s Prayer). The course also touches on some Anglican distinctives, as well as the priorities and organization of the Church of the Resurrection. The aim of the course is that participants finish well-prepared to grow in Christ within a church community. Completing the course is also a prerequisite for baptism and membership at Church of the Resurrection.

Foundations is usually offered three times a year: spring, summer and fall.
