Erase the Epidemic | 07.10.12

On Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at The Festival Center,  Church of the Adventis helping to organize an HIV 101 event: Erase the Epidemic. Come learn about the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Washington, DC, hear about how communities of faith are being called to respond to the problem, get information about the International AIDS Conference, and learn how you can get involved in area ministry or apply what you’ve learned in your community.

The session will feature speaker Elder KaTitia Pitts, co-chair of the DC Department of Health’s Places of Worship Advisory Board, Executive Director, Calvary Healthcare, Inc., and Elder at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church.
