This week marks the beginning of the Christian season of Lent. If you want to know more about why we do this, and how to make the most of it, here’s a helpful article on the topic.

Please join us for our Ash Wednesday service — marking the beginning of the penitential season of Lent — on Wednesday, February 25, at 6 PM.  The service will be held at our usual location: Christ Our Shepherd Church (801 North Carolina Ave. SE).

For those interested in dance as both art and worship, consider joining our new Dance Ministry, meeting twice monthly on Monday evenings. All levels of experience are welcome. A dance workshop will be offered during the parish retreat (Sat afternoon) for anyone who can attend. Regular meetings will begin at 7pm on March 2, at Christ our Shepherd Church.
