Nursery is available for children ages 6 - 24 months. Babies must be able to sit without support before they are able to attend nursery.  Nursery is a safe and warm environment where children engage in free play with snacks provided.

You are welcome to stay with your baby, especially as they first adjust.

2 year olds may stay or may transition to the next class as they are ready at any point.

Our class for Little Ones is designed to move toddlers into a structure to support learning and worship. In addition to free play and a snack time, children learn songs and simple liturgy.

Curriculum is God’s Big Story - Little Ones on a one year cycle and emphasizes the basic building blocks of faith. Each lesson repeats 2-3 weeks in a row so that these little ones can fully absorb the stories. (Note: Older 3 year olds may prefer the Pre-K class.)

Our Pre-K class moves children into a full age-appropriate worship service. The class opens with liturgy and music and then features a lesson using the Godly Play  curriculum, structured to our church year. This curriculum uses beautifully crafted wooden figures to invite children into the stories in God's good Word, using their imagination and their capacity for wonder.

5 years old in kindergarten can stay here or move up as parents think best.

As children enter elementary school, we add memory work from Scripture and the ACNA catechism to liturgy and music and art response. The lessons tell the meta-narrative of the Bible using God's Big Story, which arcs from creation to Revelation each year. For the 26/27 school year, we are in Year B which emphasizes God's presence with his people.

Children do not need to be able to read to participate.

This class reads, memorizes and performs Scripture, learning to directly engage with the Scriptural text, asking questions, growing in Biblical literacy, and practicing this important devotional practice. Lessons include open class discussion and individual response time.

Curriculum follows the teaching passages from the main service, with some seasonal variation for catechesis lessons.

Note: the Upper Elementary class is only offered during the 11 AM service.

Youth (ages 11-18) remain with the adults throughout our services. Youth are also encouraged to participate in the worship service through serving, whether as a greeter, on the music team, or as a children’s ministry helper. Liturgical worship is formative for everyone, including youth. Singing, praying, hearing God's word, and feasting at his table alongside believing adults nurtures their faith.

Youth group meets during the 5 PM service for fellowship, Bible study, and catechesis.
