Parish Retreat April 21-23, 2017

“Going to church” every Sunday can seem like a quaint relic of yesteryear. And when we think about all our burdens and responsibilities, the additional responsibility of church participation can feel like the last straw. But God’s Word teaches that being part of a church family is rich and life-giving. “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Why do we gather? Who are these people, and why should I love them? What happens spiritually when we gather together on Sundays?

Join us to reflect on these questions together as we rest and grow in communion with the Lord and his people.
