Helping with Urban Hands

Every summer, area churches work together to create Urban Hands, a unique opportunity for middle and high school students from diverse neighborhoods, experiences, and denominations to come together for a week of worship, service, and fun in their own local mission field of Washington, DC.  The week gives students the opportunity to wrestle with Biblical issues of justice and mercy, as well as roll up their sleeves for some good old hard work.

But Urban Hands needs help providing meals for the kids.  This is a great opportunity for a Rez group, or just a group of friends from Rez who like to cook, to serve the community in a meaningful and fun way.  If you would like to coordinate your Rez group to cook for approximately 100 youth, one evening from July 13-16, please let us know.
