Friday Night Fellowship Feb 10, 7pm – Can we trust the Gospels?

The Christian faith requires belief in Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. But can we trust the written records of Jesus' life? This is a stumbling block for many people. This Friday Night Fellowship will take place on February 10 at 7pm at Christ our Shepherd, and will include a presentation and Q & A regarding the evidence for and challenges against the historical accuracy of the Gospels.

Moving Forward Together, A Sacred Assembly

Everyone is invited to attend the January 16-18 gathering in Raleigh, NC of Christians under the oversight of the Anglican Province of Rwanda. Lessons & Carols Christmas Service | December 11
Thursday, November 10th, 2011Our annual Lessons & Carols Christmas Service is coming up at 5pm on Sunday, December 11th at National Baptist (in Columbia Heights, where Church of the Advent meets - 1501 Columbia Road, NW). This is a traditional candlelight service with Christmas readings and Christmas songs. This service will also be joint with Church of the Advent, our sister church that normally meets in Columbia Heights, where the service will be held.
