Matt Anderson, former pastor at Rez, and now teaching at Alexandria School of Theology in Egypt, will give a seminar after the service on Sunday, July 18.  Drawing on his studies, his teaching, and his experience of engaging with Muslims in Egypt, Matt will help us to understand more about what the Qu’ran is, and what it teaches.

In addition to our own congregation, we are inviting members of our sister churches to attend the Approaching the Qu’ran seminar, so please bring plenty of food to share!

Reneé Bondi, author of The Last Dance but Not the Last Song, will share in word and in song the personal and spiritual lessons she learned after a bizarre accident left her a quadriplegic. The event will be held at the Rivendell School auditorium (5700 Lee Highway) in north Arlington on Monday, April 26, at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
