Sunday Lunch Cafe, May 20

Lunch Cafe is a local ministry Rez participates in that provides warm, homemade meals to the homeless on Capitol Hill. This Sunday, May 20 we are looking for volunteers to cook the meals, serve, set-up/clean-up and make a dessert. First shift begins at 10am. Men interested in attending a fishing outing on Saturday May 19 should email Cam Nunery who says “Let's get outdoors and take it all in. Doesn't matter if you're an expert or novice, we're going fishing and you're coming with us!"

Parish Retreat 2012
Thursday, April 12th, 2012Our annual Parish Retreat, is coming up on May 4-6th. Dr. Amy Sherman, author of Kingdom Calling and the Rez pastoral staff will help us practically think about how to live the Resurrection in such a way that blesses our neighbors and coworkers.

Easter Sunday Service | 04.08.12

Rez will be holding an Easter Sunday Service to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ at our regular time and place on Sunday, April 8th at 5pm at Christ Our Shepherd Church (see map). The service will include an option to participate in communion. The service will last for about an hour and a half. Visitors can get an idea of what to expect from our Sunday services here.

Up Meeting | 03.18.12

The next Up Meeting will be Sunday, March 18, immediately following the service at Christ Our Shepherd. Up Meetings are a congregational forum, a kind of town hall gathering for the Church of the Resurrection including a pizza dinner.
