Dr. David Mensah, 5pm May 27

Dr. David Mensah will be our guest speaker on Pentecost Sunday at Church of the Resurrection. Orphaned as a young boy in Northern Ghana, David faced hunger, starvation and neglect on a daily basis. He became converted to Christianity on the street after hearing of Yesu from a 70 year old Muslim man. Against all odds, David left Ghana in 1979 and arrived in Canada with only $10 in his pocket. There he completed undergraduate and graduate degrees, met and married his wife Brenda, launched a Christian ministry on behalf of his homeland, and became father to three beautiful daughters, including our very own Dr. Liz!
