A great way to learn more about Rez is by attending a Newcomer’s Dinner. This is an opportunity to meet others and hear more about the history and vision of Church of the Resurrection. We are partnering with Christ Our Shepherd to host a night of worship & prayer for Washington DC. on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 7 to 9 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Childcare will be provided.

The Christian faith requires belief in Jesus' life, teachings, death, and resurrection. But can we trust the written records of Jesus' life? This is a stumbling block for many people. This Friday Night Fellowship will take place on February 10 at 7pm at Christ our Shepherd, and will include a presentation and Q & A regarding the evidence for and challenges against the historical accuracy of the Gospels.

Rez will be holding an Ash Wednesday service at 7pm on February 22  at Christ Our Shepherd. The service will last for about an hour.

Everyone is invited to attend the January 16-18 gathering in Raleigh, NC of Christians under the oversight of the Anglican Province of Rwanda. The gathering will be rooted in worship & prayer, and will consider ways to move forward with this assembly. Registration is online here and costs $125. We hope you can join.

Sunday Lunch Cafe is a local ministry Rez participates in that provides warm, homemade meals to the homeless on Capitol Hill.  We are looking for volunteers to cook the meals, serve, set-up/clean-up and make a dessert. For more information or to sign up, please email Tim Arnold.
