Book Discussion: When Helping Hurts: Alleviating Poverty Without Hurting the Poor… and Ourselves. Tuesdays 7/13, 8/3, 8/24 at 7 pm.

A group from the Urban Mission Council will gather on three evenings over the summer to discuss the book When Helping Hurts: Alleviating Poverty Without Hurting the Poor. . .and Ourselves, by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert.  Dan Claire highly recommended this book to our team, and we are inviting the Rez church community to join  the discussion.  We will meet Tuesday evenings July 13th, Aug 3rd & Aug 24th from 7-9pm at Kristi Kiger’s house.  Dinner will be provided.  If you want to join in, please email kristi.kiger[AT] gmail <DOT> com so we can know how many to cook for and give you directions.
