Volunteers Needed for Employment Workshop

Interested in helping men and women transitioning home from incarceration as they learn how to secure employment? The Welcome Home Program of Catholic Charities, based at the Montgomery County Pre-Release Center is looking for volunteers to lead employment workshops on topics such as resume building, interviewing and how to maintain a job once you get one.

Workshops have already been developed and will be co-lead by a team of volunteers of various ages, races, genders and employment histories. Workshops will be held from 10am to 12pm on Saturdays at the Pre-Release Center. (Other similar volunteer opportunities on weekdays are also available if you’re interested.)
