REZGROUPS
What Are RezGroups?
RezGroups are small groups (10 to 15 people) of people who gather routinely (usually weekly) for intentional connection – to know God, to read and be formed by the Bible, to grow in relationship with one another, and to live out the Gospel together in daily life. Week in and week out, a RezGroup is a place to invest time, prioritize the study of Scripture, and build friendships that help you grow spiritually through consistent attendance.
While each group has its own rhythm and meeting style, all RezGroups include:
- Reading and discussing Scripture in community.
- Sharing a meal or fellowship time together.
- Praying together for one another and the needs of our church and city.
- Caring for one another through life’s ups and downs.
We encourage people to visit a RezGroup at least three times to get a real sense of the people and the rhythm, then either make a commitment or look for another group. What isn’t healthy is staying in “visitor mode” indefinitely—RezGroups only work when people decide to belong.
Who Are They For?
RezGroups are for people who worship at the Church of the Resurrection regularly on Sundays, especially members. They’re designed to be places where people can be formed by Scripture and cultivate friendship within the Rez community.
Ready to Get Connected?
We know joining a group can feel intimidating. That’s okay! Please fill out the interest form below, and we’ll help connect you with a RezGroup. Visit for a few weeks in a row, pay attention to what God is stirring in you, and then discern whether this is the group He’s calling you to commit to even if it might not look like what you expected.
