When Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, He commissioned his followers to make disciples of all nations, but he did not leave them without help. Jesus poured out his Holy Spirit on Pentecost, granting his followers the power to be his witnesses throughout the world. This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series: The Spirit of God. We will explore ways that the Spirit’s work and influence in our lives give us the strength and wisdom to fulfill the Great Commission and persevere through the daily challenges that confront us in this earthly life.
