Answering the Hard Questions

From the C.S. Lewis Institute  Apologetic Evangelism Series

Francis Schaeffer once commented that the weakness with most seminaries was not that the students did not know the
answers, but rather they did not know the questions. We live in a world of unanswered questions, some of which appear
so complicated that people have concluded they are unanswerable. What are the questions? Do we have any meaningful
answers?

Sessions:

  • Apologetics Defined: A Biblical mandate for Apologetics. What is Apologetics? Is it Biblical? How do we go about apologetics? What is the goal of apologetics?
  • Apologetics Tested: Tough Questions – Tough Answers? What are the big questions that we face today? How do we go about answering them? Why is it that answers sometimes seem so tough to give? Are there answers we can give?
  • Apologetics Applied: Tough Questions – Effective answers? What are the practical applications of what we have learned so far? What difference does this make 9-5?
  • Apologetics Required: A prophetic voice? There are some very challenging issues that are approaching on the horizon. The intellectual landscape is moving faster than we may have acknowledged. What are some of the greatest challenges we may yet have to face? Are we ready?
