The Problem with Singleness?
Saturday, November 16 from 10 am-2 pm at Rez
Registration Cost: $15
Being a single Christian can often feel like death by a thousand cuts. Many singles – whether never married, divorced or widowed – live with the daily grief of life not turning out the way they and others around them had expected. The hurt is often further compounded by cultural currents that regard their singleness as either a a tragedy to be lamented or a problem to be solved.
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Dani Treweek from the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, and we encourage everyone—single, dating, or married—to attend this event. As Dr. Treweek addresses these issues biblically, theologically, and practically, she will help us consider our assumptions about singleness and how the Gospel (re)informs our thinking about the unmarried Christian life.
Food and drinks will be will be available. We can provide childcare for those who request it in advance. Please make sure to indicate this in the registration form.
