Dan Claire, RectorDan Claire is a fifth-generation Floridian who moved to the District of Columbia in 1999 to lead in the development of theological education programs for metro Washington. Dan went to college and medical school at the University of Florida. He completed ministerial training at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, and is a PhD candidate at the Catholic University of America. The Church of the Resurrection began in 2003 at Dan’s house in NW DC, where he and his wife Elise live with their five children, Annelise, Joseph, Vivian, Lucia and Eden. Email Dan.
Matthew Mason, Assistant PastorA transplanted Englishman, Matthew is married to Annabel. They have two young daughters, Tabitha and Evie. He studied in Manchester and London and served as a pastor in the Church of England before joining Church of the Resurrection in 2009. Aaron Damiani, Assistant PastorAaron and his wife Laura moved to DC in 2008, and they have 3 children: Gus, Sammy, & Olivia. He spent 11 years in Chicago, where he studied at Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College. Aaron enjoys cycling, making his children run laps in the backyard, and listening to C-Span Radio. Annie Mahr, Women’s Care TeamAnnie and her husband Bill have been members of Rez since 2006, after moving to DC to host a hospitality house in Georgetown for university students. She is the mother of three grown children and a growing number of grandchildren. Annie loves discovering new things with her grandchildren, talking about life at her kitchen table, and working in her rock garden. Email Annie.
Kaitlynn Hendricks, Parish AdministratorKaitlynn began attending Church of the Resurrection in 2009 after moving to DC to study economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. She came on staff for Rez in December 2010, then for Church of the Advent in June, 2011, and now serves as the Parish Administrator for both. She directs church operations from resource management, to communication, to event planning, to design. Kaitlynn grew up in rural Oregon, but spent many summers & holidays with family in DC all throughout her life and now calls the federal city home after living here since 2007. She enjoys writing, reading things that are just a little bit too complicated to really understand, and exploring the city on her vespa. Email Kaitlynn.
