Approaching the Qu’ran Seminar: Sunday, July 18

Matt Anderson, former pastor at Rez, and now teaching at Alexandria School of Theology in Egypt, will give a seminar after the service on Sunday, July 18. Drawing on his studies, his teaching, and his experience of engaging with Muslims in Egypt, Matt will help us to understand more about what the Qu'ran is, and what it teaches.

Sunday Lunch Cafe, July 18

Sunday Lunch Cafe is a monthly ministry of Rez that serves homemade, sit-down lunches to our homeless neighbors living on the Hill. We need a few volunteers to help with grocery shopping, making dessert, cooking the lunches and serving. The Rwanda trip team will be having a fundraising Yard Sale on Saturday July 10 at the Rudolphs', 1800 Kearney St. NE. Please dig out any yard sale items you may have and donate them. Urban Hands 2010: Volunteers needed July 11-17
